Daily Inspiration

“Pain is a relatively objective, physical phenomenon; suffering is our psychological resistance to what happens. Events may create physical pain, but they do not in themselves create suffering. Resistance creates suffering. Stress happens when your mind resists what is...The only problem in your life is your mind's resistance to life as it unfolds.” ~ Dan Millman

About Us

Who and What is C3 Training?

C3 Training was incorporated in April 2003 to help people get great results, and live happy, fulfilling lives.

We believe that the way to get great results is to learn what we don’t know about ourselves, so that we can change or break set behaviour patterns, and set goals for what we do really want. The courses developed 25 years ago by Context Associated helps people to get what they say they want. C3 Training provides The Excellence Series: The Pursuit of Excellence, The Wall, The Advancement of Excellence and many other programs including Mastery.

These are not just personal development courses, they will help you have more fulfilling careers, more satisfying relationships, set goals, be more successful, have more fun, and enjoy life!

Our Name

At C3 we believe that the 3 essential elements for anyone to live a rich, and fulfilling life are:

  • COMMITMENT: Commit to living a rich fulfilled life
  • CLARITY: Get very clear on what you want.
  • CONGRUENCY: Show up in life, as who you really are.

We follow these principles in running our business and are committed to helping you apply them to your life.

Practical Visionaries

Randy Revell

Over 30 years ago, Randy and Judy Revell became pioneers and leaders in the field of self-awareness education. One of Randy’s distinctive qualities was his ability to apply diverse experiences and knowledge to his own life. This integration is a cornerstone of The Excellence Series and was also a driving force behind Randy’s personal, professional, and financial success. In other words—he practiced what he preached! He knew from his own experience that his ideas about abundance, effectiveness and creating excellence could generate amazing results for people across all aspects of life.

Randy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, followed by graduate work in mathematics and communications. Before founding Context International, he was in the Air Force, served the U.S. government for 11 years as a specialist in communications and education, worked as a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley, and was a consultant to Fortune 500 executives.

His personal stand in life (something our graduate students learn in Mastery I) was to be a Champion of Good Will. Randy believed good will in relationships creates safety. In safety, people are more likely to show up as themselves. From this willingness to show up as one is, miracles occur.

Randy believed Context International’s exceptionally effective programs had a purpose beyond himself: that they could inspire people to move forward, get great results, and contribute to others, creating a better world for everyone. Although he passed away in 2004, his legacy continues through his wife Judy, daughter Elisabeth and a host of facilitators and graduates around the world.

Judy Revell

Judy met Randy while he was in the Air Force. After three dates, they were engaged to be married. This extraordinary, integrated partnership continued until Randy’s death in 2004, and the work they began continues today.

Born into a military family in California, Judy spent her early years traveling the world. Educated in Germany and Virginia, she earned a B.A. in History and a teaching certificate in secondary education. In 1968, she and Randy moved to California following the birth of their daughter, Elisabeth. It was here that the Revell’s became involved in the science of human potential and designed the courses that became The Excellence Series. Judy is particularly respected for designing the content of the second course, The Wall.

Judy served as Chief Financial Officer of Context International until her stroke in 1991. She was a vigorous and dynamic leader, known as a woman who combines dignity, elegance, and grace with a hunger for mental stimulation and deep laughter. Judy’s “can-do” attitude is motivated by the quest for joy and achievement. “Yes I can” was her personal motto long before it became a political slogan. Judy passed on; July 24 2011.

Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan is the President of C3 Training. He has a background in Banking and Finance, and 25 years in management. Tim is presently a registered Mortgage Broker, in addition to running C3 Training. He is very excited and committed to launching Context Associated Programs across Western Canada, and helping people live committed, congruent lives with clarity.

Tim has quite a story to tell about how he got involved with these courses. He admits he was a serious skeptic at first, but he was willing to go to an intro session and find out what all the fuss was about. After the intro he decided to sign up for the Pursuit of Excellence with the intention of claiming the money back guarantee. Well, needless to say, he didn’t ask for his money back, he signed up for the next course! He went on to take The Wall, and the Advancement of Excellence.

Since Sept 1993, Tim has taken every Context program, including Mastery levels 1 and 2, and 21st Century Leadership. After concluding his courses he chose to lead 21st Century Leadership and the Advancement of Excellence, and has also volunteered as an assistant in several of these programs. He has worked very closely with Randy Revell and his wife, Judy, who are the creators of this series of personal development courses. He was the Western Canada Area Director for Context Associated, and has now become a “franchisee” so that he can offer these courses across Western Canada.
